How to put a passcode/password on your windows 8 apps?

I have a windows 8 laptop and I want to know how I can put a password/passcode on my apps. Just for safety reasons. Thanks.

We’ve showed a number of effective solution in respect of encrypting important and sensitive files and folders. But there seems about how to protect programs with password in Windows. And here we’ll introuduce you one. That’s Protect Exe.
Protect Exe is a free program that lets you protect any Windows executable program with password, thus preventing unauthorized execution of programs installed on your computer. All the exe files can be encrypted with twofish 256 bit keysize.  Once the password is on your applications, it will ask you for it whenever you want to run the program.

Protect Exe supports all Windows 32 and 64 bit version. And it’s easy to use it. Just go to the official website to download it in your computer. The download comes in the form of Zip file. Unzip it and you can double the exe file to run Protect Exe. Next click the button  to import the exe file you want to protect and enter a password to protect it.

Actually, you can also add a login password to your Windows use accounts to stop unauthorized users from accessing your computer contents (Creating a Windows password reset disk is recommended once the password is set.) or take the advantage of TrueCrypt to protect your important programs.
