Windows Could Not Start Because The Following File Is Missing

This can be a trouble with the NTFS partition within your computer. In case you recieve the error message, you can't start your computer any longer, hence struggling to access all of your data in the computer. It is a pure case of data loss (how to recover files after system restore)and could require NTFS partition recovery software(ntfs data recovery).

You recieve the aforementioned error message when, you perform any of the following events:

When you've got installed Microsoft Windows Xp SP1 rollup after enabling the hyper-threading have or installtion of one other processor to your system. It's occured because when Rollup 1 premiered in advance of Windows XP SP2, plus you've got installed rollup following installation of Windows XP SP2. This will not be achieved logically.

The resolution to the above described problem are highlighted below:

Restart your pc after insertion of the Windows XP startup disk or Windows XP CD within the respective disk drive or CD drive
When prompted, start the machine from the CD drive after selecting any option

To initiate the 'Recover Console', press R when you have the "Welcome to Setup" screen

In case your system is a multi boot system, choose the required installation you need to access from your 'Recovery Console'
When prompted, give you the 'Administrator password'. This will restart your system

Even with performing the above steps, you might not resolve the problem. In these instances, you'll need a backup to recover your lost data. But in lack of proper backup, you can still recover your data by using NTFS Partition Recovery Software.
Hodo Windows Data Recovery Software is type tool that recovers data from lost, formatted FAT, NTFS, and exFAT file systems.
